Boat builder news:

UK luxury boat manufacturer, Fairline Boats plc, in partnership with organisers National Boat Shows, is supporting the forthcoming London Boat Show by offering a Fairline Targa 34 as a prize in The Daily Mail Millionaire's Megaprize Draw. The lucky winner wins several prizes – the Targa 34, which would normally cost £200,000, a £150,000 villa in Turkey, £100,000 in cash and free flights* from the UK to Turkey for 10 years.

If the winner wishes, the Targa 34 will be delivered to Turkey. Fairline's Turkish dealer, Fairline Turkey will commission the boat and offer the new owners training courses and all the necessary help and information to ensure that they enjoy their new boat in safety.

Bryan Jones, Marketing Manager of Fairline commented; “National Boat Shows offered several UK boat manufacturers the opportunity to tender for the chance to include their boat within the Megaprize Draw. We were excited to put together a proposal for our most-affordable entry-level express cruiser, the Targa 34 and are delighted to have been chosen. A Targa 34 will be on display at the main entrance to ExCel to welcome all visitors with another on show within the South Hall, right opposite our own stand.”

The Targa 34 is the fastest of Fairline's twelve boat fleet and can reach speeds approaching 40 knots. She accommodates four guests in two luxurious double cabins and a saloon settee can be converted to a double bed for a further two guests. The galley is generously proportioned and features a sink, two-burner gas hob, oven and grill.

The interior finish of the boat is exemplary. Highly skilled joiners craft the interior lockers and cabinets, grain matching the wood and applying by hand an 8-stage lacquer technique to provide a flawless, polished finish.

The spacious cockpit area is laid out to provide owner and guests with plenty of space to sunbathe, to dine or simply to sit in comfort and enjoy the ride. Access to the teak-decked bathing platform is via a transom gate for added safety. A wide-tread transom ladder allows secure and easy entry to the sea and a fresh water shower is available for swimmers to rinse off seawater before they return to the cockpit.
