Boat Builder news: The completely new 36 Sedan Bridge is a sweet addition to Sea Ray’s line of Sport Yachts that will have happy boaters living the sweet life. Like all Sedan Bridge models, this newest member of the line is exquisitely appointed and technologically advanced, with meticulous attention to every detail, “The Sea Ray 36 Sedan Bridge is the perfect choice for trading up to a new level of joy and pleasure, says Scott Nault, district manager sport yacht sales. “She’s a premium boat full of amenities and features that will take you to a new meaning of the term ‘boating.’” The 36 Sedan Bridge is a real head turner, from the top of her aft-facing arch with Sunbrella® canvas bridge cover along her beautifully sculpted exterior seamless fiberglass spoiler, to the sporty graphic striping at the water line. And these external good looks are just a hint at her inner beauty. The salon is contemporary, bright and open with exquisite finishes in Cherry, Ultraleather HP™ seating and faux-granite countertops. A large sofa and loveseat offer plenty of room to sprawl out and relax; an optional sofa upgrade features a pullout bed for extra sleeping space. Entertainment is provided by an incredible 20-inch flatscreen LCD TV with remote DVD player and Clarion® single CD stereo system with Sirius® Satellite Radio Receiver and six-disc changer, amplifier, subwoofer, digital cockpit remote and speaker selector switches. Forward, a spacious L-shaped dinette area with hardwood floor seats four comfortably while providing breathtaking views of the open seas. From the salon, a sliding glass door leads to the lower cockpit area – the perfect vantage point for enjoying the water, thanks to a wide, walk-through transom and large swim platform with concealed ladder. An optional removable aft-bench seat provides extra seating and storage space while a gas-assisted hatch leads to a well-organized engine room. Back on top, the bridge helm station provides optimum visibility forward and aft. All the latest technology is at the skipper’s fingertips — like Northstar electronics, and LCD systems monitor for pump monitoring. Responsive hydraulic steering, weatherproof switches and abundant power from standard MerCruiser® 8.1S Horizon (370 PHP) engines make piloting the 36 Sedan Bridge a dream come true. And with options like a bow thruster or the user-friendly Sea Ray Navigator — a PC-based touch-screen chart-plotting system — the captain is prepared for just about anything.
