Conference news:
Seventeen marina industry companies have signed on as sponsors of the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC), which will be held January 29 – February 1 in Orlando, FL. Producing IMBC this year are the Association of Marina Industries (AMI – formerly MOAA and IMI) and the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA).
There are a few sponsorship opportunities still available. Sponsoring a part of the conference is an excellent way to promote a product or organization to the entire marina industry. Companies wishing to sponsor a session or event at the conference, please contact Brooke Fishel at AMI by Friday, January 6th, which is the closing date of sponsorship sales.
The current sponsors for IMBC include:
3M
Bellingham Marine
Chubb Custom Market, Inc.
DockMaster Software
Flagship Marinas
Golden Giant
Great American Insurance Co.
Lockton Insurance Brokers, Inc.
Marinevest
NMMA

Conference Room Block Extended
Based upon a terrific response to this year’s program, conference producers have negotiated an extension of the discounted rate available. The Marriott Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, the host hotel, has extended the deadline to January 9, 2006! All conference sessions and exhibit hall will take place on the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld property. The special room rate for those attending the conference is $219 for single/double occupancy.
The conference returns to Orlando in 2006 after a hiatus in 2005 when the IMBC joined forces with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, (ICOMIA) for IMC ’05 in San Diego, California. |
