Boating enthusiasts of all ages who want to take a break from the winter doldrums to dream about a summer of fun on the water are encouraged to visit the Minneapolis Boat Show.
The 34th Annual Minneapolis Boat Show - the largest boat show in the Midwest - is a crowd pleaser for boating enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels. The 2006 Minneapolis Boat Show is the place to see and buy all that's new in the boating industry, from canoes to cruisers, pontoons to personal watercraft, deck boats to docks, and more. Plus, check out an exhibit by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society - complete with artefacts recovered from the depths of Lake Superior; the Land-O-Lakes Antique and Classic Boat Display - with beauties from the 1900s through the 1950s; and the Discover Boating Center - offering information on beginning boating, selecting a boat, and boating education.
Saturday and Sunday mark American Family Insurance Safety Weekend, when children 12 and under will receive a free life jacket courtesy of American Family Insurance while supplies last. |
