Company news: Nordhavn Europe completed their first year of business at the Southampton Boat Show 2005. During the year Nordhavn Europe exceeded all expectations and consequently expanded the team and moved to larger premises within Hamble Point Marina, which is the company's European base. The new offices at Firefly Road provide accommodation for the three newly appointed staff. The office is being managed by Fiona Earle, who has spent many years in the marine industry both in sales and support roles. Russell Payne has been appointed as Customer Service and Commissioning Manager. Russell previously spent over ten years as Service Manager for a major UK boatbuilder and brings considerable experience and technical knowledge to Nordhavn Europe. The Company has also strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Philip Roach who has extensive sales experience including working for one of the world's largest marine electronics companies. Neil Russell continues to lead the team and will be present at the Dusseldorf Boat Show where Nordhavn will exhibit for the first time. The very capable Nordhavn 40 will be on display. Commenting on the expansion of the European office Neil said, “This is a considerable move for Nordhavn and after an excellent first year we needed to develop our sales and support team. I am delighted to have Russell, Philip and Fiona on board. The interest has not only been from the UK, but from the whole of mainland Europe. Dusseldorf will enable us to build on this excellent start.” |
