At sea. Atlantic Rowing Race: Olympian competitive spirit burning again PDF Print E-mail

Phil:

Once again you cannot take your eyes off the Doubles race. The big news is that "Maybrit" who had surged to over a 100 mile lead over the next nearest boat, has had its lead cut to around 25 miles, with "Spirit of Cornwall" 2nd at 805 miles. Next is "Team C2" at 794 miles, with our heroes tucked in not far behind at 788 miles.

I spoke to James this morning who was really pleased that they are off and running. I also detected the old Olympian competitive spirit burning through, "At one point yesterday we were neck and neck with Spirit of Cornwall and they seemed to speed away, we have to get up there with the leaders ....."

Keep your support coming in they really value it especially in Xmas week .....

Bye for now

Phil
