Product news: A new stainless steel deck ventilator is now added to the extensive product range of Vetus Den Ouden N.V. of Schiedam, The Netherlands. It is low profile and can be closed absolutely watertight, which makes it ideal for seagoing boats. In the open position, permanent ventilation is provided and the ventilator is rain and splash proof. Permanent ventilation is essential on all boats, to reduce the possibility of condensation in cold weather and to provide fresh air when the weather is hot. This new ventilator, type UFO2, is a development of the well-known Vetus low profile deck ventilators. It is made entirely from type AISI 316 stainless steel and the cover is high-gloss polished. An incorporated mushroom ventilator provides fresh air when open, or complete water tightness when closed. Installation on the deck of any boat is very easy. A mosquito screen is built in and an internal finishing trim ring completes the package. |
