BMF news: Guests are to be invited to a champagne reception during the London Boat Show, on the TYHA Stand (N1643) to celebrate the re-launch of its Gold Anchor Award Scheme on Monday 9th January 2006. The Scheme has been in operation for over 20 years and has recently been reviewed with re-assessments of participant's marinas currently underway. The achievement of a Gold Anchor Award is a sign of excellence and and is designed to give the Marina Operator a marketing advantage and an indication of standards of facilities. To date 42 marinas hold Five Gold Anchors; 22 marinas hold Four Gold Anchors and 3 marinas hold Three Gold Anchors - not only in the UK but also in Turkey; Holland; Belgium; Singapore; Thailand; and Australia.
