Ecosea news: Ecosea has begun distribution of an enhanced installers pack to existing official Cuprotect® installers. The pack has been upgraded to help installers offer an even higher standard of Cuprotect® installation. Existing installers – and any future installers will receive: • a comprehensive installers manual • a humidity meter and dew point calculator • a surface temperature gauge Copies of the new manual are available to existing and potential installers at METS on Ecosea’s stand in West Hall (Hall 3), Stand 03.416. This upgraded pack and the tools it contains – the manual, humidity meter and surface temperature gauge – will make it even easier for our installers to provide a really professional high standard of service that will ensure their Cuprotect® customer base grows and grows.” Cuprotect® is guaranteed to prevent bio-fouling for 5 years, and has a service life in excess of 10 years. It is applied by professional installers, is fast to apply and provides a highly effective uniform coating, comprising particles of copper nickel alloy that are sprayed onto a bed of epoxy resins. Cuprotect® forms a continuous seamless coating that does not require any grouting. Application of the material onto the hull is fast and very cost effective. The resulting micro-granule surface is totally non-conductive and thereby effectively combats any of the normally observed corrosion or galvanic reactions. |
