The General Office of the People's Government of Jinshan announced today that it recently held a fair to introduce coastline development projects. The attendants included representatives from 30 Shanghai offices of the world's top 500 enterprises and approximately 100 businessmen from US, Germany, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong and other places around the world. The Jinshan District Coastline Management Committee and Mr. Jiang Yonghua, board chairman and general manager of Golden Beach Investment and Development Co, Ltd, addressed the fair to introduce the projects. There are a total of 10 coastline development projects, but only 6 of them were introduced during this fair. These project include: the artificial hills, the tourist service center, Shanghai seafood mall, the seaside international community, five-star hotels and an international yacht club. The coastline development construction is divided into eastern and western sections by Qijiadun. The conceptive planning of the eastern section and the manipulative planning of western section have completed.

As the southwest gate of Shanghai, Jinshan District has the longest coastline in shanghai, which gives it a genuine 'beach city' feeling. The golden beach, delightful breezes and rich cultural and tourist sources are attracting numerous tourists and investors. The launching of many significant events, such as the ''Wind-Summer Concert Season" and Swatch-FIVB beach volleyball world tour, makes Jinshan coastline more and more a focus of global attention.
