A spokesman for Peters plc has told BYM News that "the company sees the loss of the Fairline European distributorship as an opportunity to expand our business."

Peters says that it is now in a strong position to continue its growth strategy of representing a wider range of companies. The company says that the recently added Rodman range is proving very popular as a stylish and well engineered product that, because of its pedigree, is entirely suited to northern waters and Peters will add other carefully selected marques to its range.

Talks between Fairline and Peters are on going, to try to negotiate terms under which Peters would become a new Fairline dealer.
