Press release:The first Azimut 105 was succesfully delivered to her Mexican owner, at the end of July, and is now cruising Med waters. In September she will be exhibited at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows and in October will be at Genoa. The second unit will be at the Miami Boat Show in February 2006.
This new motoryacht, built at the Azimut Yachts division of Viareggio, replaces the famous 100 Jumbo, of which 35 units were built in 11 years. With a length overall of 31,4 meters this planing vessel has a deep V hull (10.5° aft and 17° amidship) designed in cooperation with Sydac and is equipped with a pair of MTU diesel engines of 2000 hp each for a cruising speed of 24 knots and maximum speed of 26 knots.
The 105 has been conceived for living in the greatest comfort and to meet the desires of any owner. Stefano Righini has excelled in creating a stylish two and a half decks vessel with a long line of windows along the sun and main decks as well as a large side window on the lower deck. The flybridge has two rigid sun roofs that support a canvas sunscreen and the tender and jet ski are lodged in a roomy garage in the transom.
The interiors offer a variety of different options: one has the master’ suite on the main deck, with a huge head at a lower level, with four guest cabins on the lower deck; the second version locates the owner’ suite and three guest staterooms on the lower deck and dedicates all of the main deck to the entertaining areas: main saloon, dining room galley and TV/music room forward.
Galeazzi décor maintains the style’s elements introduced in the 75 foot with an even richer effect and features matt cherry wood cabinetry, light colors and neutral fabrics enriched by leather inserts. |
