In just a few days, the 2005 ClubSwan CaribbeanRendez-vous, Nautor's Swan's premier pure cruising event, will begin in the British Virgin Islands. The Rendez-vous, which runs from Monday 4 April to Saturday 9 April 2005, has continued to grow in popularity since its inception three years ago and attracts ClubSwan members from around the world to one of the most beautiful settings in the Caribbean. The Bitter End Yacht Club, situated on Virgin Gorda, will host ClubSwan members, their friends and families for a programme of relaxed cruising and glamorous evening events amongst the idyllic BVIs.

Guests will be welcomed to the BEYC on Monday by Manager John Glynn and throughout the six days of the regatta will visit the Cooper Island Beach Club, Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke and Marina Cay, returning to Virgin Gorda on Saturday for the final prize giving within the stylish setting of the BEYC's Almond Walk.

Bob Beltrano, owner of Swan 53 Nai'a and a third-time veteran of the ClubSwan Caribbean Rendez-vous, comments on the event: "The Rendez-vous is the highlight of our winter cruising season in the Caribbean. It gives us a chance to meet other Swan owners and crews and share with each other our enthusiasm for Swan." He adds, "It fosters the community of Swan that displays our pride of ownership - a community that is unlike almost any other. The Rendez-vous gives yacht owners like us a chance to be part of ClubSwan in a social atmosphere that is casual and fun and the Bitter End is one of our favourite places in the eastern Caribbean."

Nai'a will be one of over 20 Swans at the ClubSwan Caribbean Rendez-vous, all of which will take their owners around the BVIs in the safety, comfort and luxury that have become so synonymous with Nautor's Swan yachts. A range of Swans, from the Swan 43 to the Swan 82, will participate in the programmed activities, which include a West Indian BBQ and JumpUp hosted by Lewmar. The 2005 Rendez-vous also presents an opportunity for clients to charter a Swan from Nautor's Swan's new Charter base in Guadeloupe, enabling them to experience the unique taste of ClubSwan, as well as the excitement of participating in this prestigious event.
