Default Invasion of the Kingdom of Redonda

Written in "olde Englishscript" and posted

( for further information look in at http://www.antiguanice.com/redonda/ )

Duke Doug
c/o P. O Box XXX
St. Kitts
West Indies

Royal Yacht St. Peter
Nelsons Dockyard
English Harbour
Antigua,
West Indies

Your Eminence (soon to be deposed) Bob

As a gentleman, I hereby provide you with the courtesy of advance notice that I along with my supporters shall journey in my squadron under my command to and land on the isle of Redonda and thereby lay formal claim to the Kingdom at noon on Monday 1st of August 2005.

Should you not defend, it will be clear to all that you have fled and abandoned Redonda and thereby relinquished all rights and claim to the said isle and position.
However, I look forward to crossing swords with you on the rocky foreshore should you have the courage to endeavour to hold any form of tenuous tenure to the position of King of Redonda.

Yours in anticipation,

Duke Doug

Psssst, don't tell anyone, but I'm not actually going either. If the invasion actually does take place I shall be like the great generals and be manning the command post at invasion HQ with the company of several cold beers.

Hey, Doug...would your exceptional vessel make it over to Redonda? And back? If I recall, there's no landing or mooring and anchoring can be ugly. Have you ever been over to Redonda?
And FDD...hope your system can pick up the address...very strange, otherwise!
An Marian...hope this message gets sorted out in the basement of BYM Manor.
Cheers, Richard

Never landed seen it often, went past in a Boston Whaler once, fished around it once.
